Pr Melioli‘s conference:
A conference on “How to manage respiratory tract infections” was organized by GM Pharma, our distributor in some CIS countries, with the presence of 160 physicians in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan on February 26th 2019. During this congress, Pr Giovanni Melioli (Professor of Molecular Allergy, Humanitas University of Milano, Italy), presented the rational of use and the activity of the Polyvalent Mechanical Bacterial Lysate, PMBL®, in respiratory infections.
His lecture gave some highlights on respiratory tract infections and their impact on respiratory allergies, as well as the antibiotic resistance, a major public health concern. Pr Melioli also concluded on the mean to reduce the number of respiratory infections and their relapses thanks to bacterial lysates. He presented as well latest results on PMBL, and their adding-value in the management of exacerbations of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and Asthma.
Pr Ferlazzo’s seminars :
Two scientific seminars were organized in Dhaka, Bangladesh, on February 17th and 18th 2019, with Pr Guido Ferlazzo, MD (Professor of General Pathology and Immunology — University of Messina, Italy), Key opinion leader of Lallemand Pharma, who presented an additional mechanism of action of PMBL® tablets.
“Upon my presentations in Dhaka” Prof. Ferlazzo said,”I had the feeling that the local medical community enthusiastically greeted this new drug. I met competent colleagues extremely keen to hear about these novel mechanisms of action of PMBL®, recently discovered by my research group. We widely discussed the potential of PMBL® administration in the context of the respiratory diseases most commonly occurring in Bangladesh. I also believe that it might be possible to start in the next future some collaborative studies to assess the impact of PMBL® also in locally endemic diseases, such as tuberculosis.”
